Enhancing the Lives of Veterans Through Canine Companions
We are passionate about matching you with the perfect service dog to meet your needs.
Empowering Veterans Living with PTSD and TBI
At Assistance Dogs of the Heartland, our mission is to support veterans living with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) by providing them with specially trained assistance dogs. These dogs are more than just companions; they are expertly trained to help with a variety of tasks that promote emotional stability, independence, and improved quality of life. Whether it’s mitigating anxiety, offering physical support, or assisting with daily routines, our assistance dogs are carefully matched with veterans to meet their unique needs, fostering a bond that leads to greater self-confidence and well-being.
